BOOK OF REVELATIONS FASCINATION

The four horses of Apocalypse

Why is it that almost every second preacher and religious program deal with the 666, the beast, Antichrist, tribulation, rapture, the lake of fire, Armageddon, the seven headed dragon, the four horsemen of the Apocalypse... the list is too long?

Perhaps, the Book of Revelations is in the biblical canon for a purpose? Luther did not want it to be included and for about 500 years this book was not part of the Bible, why? Too confusing? Perhaps? many trailed the events John writes about and got lost. One goes on and everything neatly fits and then... oops. Something does not jive. We start all over again and then oops again.

Soul's mortality

One must first believe the Bible as being true before one can even believe in its accounts. Death did not come because of Adam and Eve's transgression, but rather because of their lack of repentance. They have not fully returned to God. However, Enoch, in the seventh generation, did repent and walked with God. God took him alive. No corruption and no death.

Just as our sins can be completely forgotten and erased from remembrance the same can be with our physical or spiritual identities.

He will again have compassion on us; He will tread our iniquities under foot. Yes, You will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea (Micah 7:19).
Jesus said in Matthew 16:26-28

“For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and will then repay every man according to his deeds.Truly I say to you, there are some of those who are standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom.”
Just as God gives the spiritual as well as the physical life in the same way He can snuff it out from both realms. He is God, not a god of theology. Learn more...  A shockingly good read
“Do not touch My anointed ones, and do My prophets no harm" (Psalms 105:15).

“So you testify against yourselves, that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets. Fill up, then, the measure of the guilt of your fathers" (Matthew 23:31-32).
It astounds me to see so many fools attacking anyone that might be anointed of God and is sent for this hour in time as God's prophet. There is no fear of God. I suppose that they act this way because of a belief they have embraced, which is this: 'God is not appointing prophets any longer, does not anoint anyone; the gifts of the Holy Spirit are no longer needed or are dead.' Those who are in that belief vein also imagine that God would actually respect their beliefs, yet a little faith (a belief) is always man-made for it is the same as reading what's in a newspaper, or reading a menu in a restaurant. After reading the paper one experiences no change. After reading a menu one believes that the food will be eatable and digestible and well prepared, so based on that belief one chooses a dish. Sometimes the food is uneatable, or one needs an antacid pill after its consumption. The fact remains the same one has believed only that in the newspaper case one did nothing; while with the menu, one did something; one has eaten what one chose. One belief produced no action while the other did.

The faith of God comes (Romans 10:17) it comes and then it goes for it God's gift. One only must prepare an honorable place for it. Faith is a gift (1 Corinthians 12:9).

God remembers just as genes do remember. What our fathers have practiced they passed on to their children via the gene pool. Our DNA carries good and bad properties.

Those that are on the offensive and are hateful - attacking people like Billy Graham and other men of God, who are imperfect, and what they say may be disagreeable; nonetheless they are anointed- will only harm themselves. In due season they will reap what they have sown. Fools.

As a result of a blunt attack against God's anointed, (like King David, who was not only imperfect, but also a sinner, or Jesus as it was the case with His accusers during His day, the apostles, or the entire Jewish nation for that matter); the living properties (DNA) carry that hatred on and on. Only true deep and sincere repentance can stop this DNA conveyor belt. Hence, Jesus said that they TESTIFY AGAINST THEMSELVES THAT THEY ARE SONS OF…

Scripture is clear, a son is not punished for the sins of his father. However, the son inherits his father's properties; and how he deals with them is his business. Some are so burdened that they are unable or unwilling to change. Imagine those descendants of the murderous Nazis who still keep walking in their fathers' shoes.

In Matthew 7 Jesus said that everyone is known by their fruits, outward manifestations whether in words or actions. He  also said that from a good treasure man brings out good things, but also from a bad treasure bad things. Then He said, "How can you speak what's good when being evil?" Then He said that no one can (is able) to come to Him unless the Father draws him or her first. So, combine these things together and see logic and the very straight line in His thinking. Logic Divine.

It does not matter whether the king was wicked or not. Saul was wicked yet anointed.

[1 Samuel 24:5-6] It came about afterward that David’s conscience bothered him because he had cut off the edge of Saul’s robe. So he said to his men, “Far be it from me because of the LORD that I should do this thing to my lord, the LORD’S anointed, to stretch out my hand against him, since he is the LORD’S anointed.”
[2 Samuel 1:13-16] David said to the young man who told him, “Where are you from?” And he answered, “I am the son of an alien, an Amalekite.” Then David said to him, “How is it you were not afraid to stretch out your hand to destroy the LORD’S anointed?” And David called one of the young men and said, “Go, cut him down.” So he struck him and he died. David said to him, “Your blood is on your head, for your mouth has testified against you, saying, ‘I have killed the LORD’S anointed.’”
Amalekites have no fear of God and no respect for the invisible God who is without form and image. They have no grasp of these things for they have been indeed given over to their own flesh just as it is written in Romans 1:24-28.

Check your spiritual reality. Is there any spark of it is still left? Or perhaps it's all completely gone; and out of desperation you have replaced it with your own interpretations, philosophy and beliefs?
