Conflict inside |
God longs to fellowship with us;
therefore, when the Holy Spirit comes, He surrounds Himself with six
ministering spirits (angels). In Isaiah 11:2 they are called the seven spirits
of the LORD: 1. The Spirit of the LORD will rest on Him. 2. The spirit of
wisdom. 3. The spirit of understanding. 4. The spirit of counsel. 5. The spirit
of strength. 6. The spirit of knowledge. 7. The spirit of the fear of the LORD.
The six-pointed Star of David
(Hebrew: Mogen David) is both a
shield and a weapon.
[Luke
12:10] Everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven
him; but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven
him.
Obviously the
Holy Spirit must be within that weapon-shield, or someone may die without ever
having a chance to repent. God is super sensitive. His sensitivity is beyond
human grasp. Holy Spirit is the Life of God and anything aimed at this super
sensitive Spirit of Life must be eradicated first at the remotest gate. Now, picture
the temple mount with the outer walls, inner walls and the Holy of Holies. Now,
picture Jesus in His zeal in the temple (John 2:17) overthrowing the merchants’
tables as they were coming too close to the Inner Court and the Holy of Holies.
The Hebrew word racham means compassion, and the Hebrew
word rechem means womb. Imagine now a microscopic picture of the
living fetus; what you will see is many protective walls around the embryo.
These protective walls reject repelling anything that might try to penetrate
and perhaps injure the most delicate embryo. Now, imagine our compassionate
God, and those He made to be like Himself. Jesus
felt compassion and healed their sick (Matthew 14:14).
Ananias and Sapphira were
directly exposed to the Holy Spirit and died on the spot; they actually lied to
the face (presence) of the Holy Spirit (Acts 5). The Holy Spirit is on this
earth. He comes because of what you hear and read, but not directly as God’s
Breath of Life. He comes in a company of (like bodyguards) Spirit-Guards.
When the Holy Spirit comes He
comes first with the fear of the LORD, because the fear of the LORD is the
beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10). Wisdom is preceded by two stages:
understanding and knowledge. Understanding acquires, it absorbs knowledge; and
then knowledge attains to wisdom, which manifests itself in wise actions. Wisdom is the fruit of the understood
knowledge - its fruit is a wise behavior. Therefore, the fear of the LORD
is just the beginning. Solomon claimed to have wisdom, but his actions were not
necessarily wise. The same goes for all of us. We understand, and know, but how
much? We act according to what we have absorbed and know. Thus, we must keep
quiet in some situations, and speak up in another. The discipline of our tongue
is the training session number one.
After wisdom comes strength, and
after strength comes counsel. How can a fool counsel anyone? Strength is what
everyone needs in this life.
[Proverbs
10:23] Doing wickedness is like sport to a fool, and so is wisdom to a man of
understanding.
This picture shows
the company of the Holy Spirit. Going clockwise: F stands for the fear of God;
U stands for understanding, K stands for knowledge; W for wisdom; S for
strength, and C for counsel. In the middle of these six spirits is the Holy
Spirit. 12 o’clock - Fear of the LORD releases (2 o’clock) understanding, which
absorbs (4 o’clock) knowledge. Knowledge conditions behavior, which includes
thinking, and the management of feelings, also words, envisioning, planning and
doing; hence (6 o’clock) - wisdom. After wisdom is established, more wisdom
comes in, for as it is with fear and anger, both feed on themselves; wisdom
also feeds on itself in the positive sense. “The one who has shall have more”
(Luke 19:26). Wise behavior produces (8 o’clock) strength; even unnatural
strength of mind, resolve, and determination when confronted with an obstacle.
Only the strong can give (10 o’clock) counsel; for any counsel of the weak
produces the same in others. If a fool teaches others, he only makes more
fools, but a strong person can strengthen those that are weak, etc.
This wonderful turning glorious
shield of power comes to plow the soil, like a spinning auger, being readied
for the sowing of God’s eternal seed. If you prepare Him a room the Holy Spirit
will come, and do exactly that which Jesus promised us, teach, remind, guide
and comfort us.
The seal of the Holy Spirit also means shield of the Holy Spirit. The Greek root word is sphragis, speaks of fencing in, protection
- derived from the root word sphragizo,
meaning to stamp, as with a signet or a private mark for security or
preservation.
Obviously, those two Greek words,
depicting the Seal of Truth, also depict the shield, mogen. No matter what the language, or culture, God’s truth is
never lost.
God did not uproot the Tree of Life and burned it. He only guards it for the select few. He knew that the peacemakers will one day return to Him and will be invited to eat of this glorious immortality tree.
The guardian angels serve the
redeemed of the Lord today. The expelling of Adam and Eve from the Garden of
Eden was not permanent.
[Genesis
3:24] So He drove the man out, and at the east of the Garden of Eden He
stationed the cherubim and the flaming sword, which turned every direction to
guard the way to the tree of life.
Those who are sealed with the Holy Spirit are
also sealed with the seven spirits. Spirit-Guards are the guardian angels
assigned to us after our fellowship with the Holy Spirit and they are
innumerable, myriads; more than enough for the entire world.
[Psalm
91:11] He will give His angels charge concerning you, to guard you in all your
ways.
